Before & After Comparisons are designed for project reporting, not just marketing. We capture the site from consistent viewpoints over time and present the results as side-by-side images or time-lapse sequences. This creates an objective visual record that supports progress updates, stakeholder communication, and issue tracking—without relying on subjective descriptions.

Drones make this process faster and more dependable because they can repeatedly capture wide site coverage from above, then return and replicate the same angles later. This repeatability is a common best practice in construction progress tracking, because it enables like-for-like comparisons and clearer change detection across phases.

For this service we use the DJI Matrice 4T, which is built for inspection-grade documentation and repeatable capture. It combines a high-resolution camera stack (wide + tele options) with strong zoom capability, so we can document the entire site and capture detail where it matters—roof sections, façade areas, material staging, and work zones—without needing to fly close. DJI specifies a tele system with up to 112× hybrid zoom, which is ideal for safe stand-off detail capture on active sites. The Matrice 4T also supports RTK positioning, improving consistency between capture dates and helping comparisons stay aligned over time. With long flight endurance of up to 49 minutes, it can capture multiple fixed viewpoints and key site angles in one visit, keeping reporting consistent across an entire site.

Typical deliverables for project reporting include dated, matched side-by-side photo sets; short time-lapse clips showing milestone progression; and a structured “progress gallery” grouped by areas of the site like earthworks, foundations, superstructure, roofing, and external works. These outputs make reporting clearer, reduce confusion in meetings, and provide a professional evidence trail for claims, handovers, and stakeholder updates.
